the perspective shift we all need rn 🥲

When things aren't going the way you want them to 🥲

Do you ever take a cheeky midday bath, Reader?

I've been known to indulge when it's cold outside, and it kinda feels like a guilty pleasure. Like I really hope my husband doesn't come home while I'm in here even tho he would 0% judge or care at all. 🙃

But somehow it feels wrong or shameful doing something so deeply relaxing when everyone else is out in the world working away.

But I've been changing my perspective on this bc of Joe Dispenza... and if you haven't heard of him, his meditation research will change everything you think you know about what humans are capable of.

He says that *abundance* isn't something to chase, it's a state of being

Meaning, we can feel abundant even if we don't have the specific thing we want yet.

And that feeling, that energy, it acts like a magnet for more abundance. The more grateful and abundant you feel, the more abundance you'll notice, the more grateful you'll feel, and on it goes.

Bc there are always million dollar moments happening already:

Like taking a bath at 2pm

Or starting the day at 10am.

After a 1-hour vigorous dog walk (hello exercise).

And still taking a break to sit in the sun.

To log off before 5.

All while making steady progress on my goals.

^ All of that is ABUNDANT AF 🤑

That's the "working for yourself" vibe when you actually recognize it as the vibe that it is.

Because it's stupidly easy to get caught up in the next big goal – I want to achieve X – and totally miss the abundance that's already here. (Guilty 🙋‍♀️)

Sure, I'd love to fill all 10 spots of the Fall Reset 🍂☕️

And I could easily let those intrusive scarcity thoughts take over when it's not happening right away.

Or...

I can look around and realize that in this present moment, I'm already SO abundant.

Because not long ago:

I dreamt of spending my days writing and creating content. That's my new reality.

I thought about what community would feel like and how it'd fill my cup. Every email reply & power hour does exactly that.

I pictured the excited emails from students as they transform. It's happening.

What I'm trying to say is that *perspective* is everything

And feeling grateful for the abundance you DO have is the energy that creates more abundance.

I'm curious: what are Reader's million dollar moments?

Are you team bath or nah? Srsly tho, what are the cons of a bath?? Make it make sense. 🙃

xo,

Robyn
