Crying Over ClickUp by Robyn Henke

pricing client work is ________ 🤐

If you do *custom work* for your clients... this is for you 👀

I won't lie to you... and if you've been on my list a while (shoutout to my OG 'Unapologetically Organized' crew!) then you've probably already sensed it.

I've been SLACKINGGGG here.

It's been weeks since my last email. And the reason is something worth talking about.

Bc sometimes you gotta step back and ask yourself: what am I doing just because?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: our time and focus is the most valuable thing we have.

So it's healthy to regularly audit where it's going.

And lately, this newsletter hasn't made sense... not while I'm in the background digging out the core of what I'm actually trying to DO with this business.

It's worth saying too that this version of me – the one who regularly zooms out to the big picture – she actually didn't exist before ClickUp.

And this ClickUp business pivot has not been for the faint of heart...

Old Robyn would've probably gotten a regular job by now.

It's been hard and scary and confusing. But even in the darkest days, I've been able to recenter enough to make the next move and lock that plan into my Focus Framework.

So instead of WTF AM I DOING AGHHHHHH, it becomes... "ok. this is what I'm doing right now."

And yeah... if you were following the energy zap series, I bailed on it. It didn't feel like the right thing to focus on...

Which brings me to something I'm really excited to share with you:

MINI-BOOKS!

Going forward, I'm writing these more detailed, specific mini-books and sharing them right here.

Bc my goal has always been to dry your ClickUp tears.

But to actually do that, you kinda need to see the MUCH bigger ClickUp picture, which is exactly what these mini-books are for.

The first one?

If you've ever written a custom proposal, you know the drill:

You figure out scope and price in the pitch deck. Client says yes. And then you flip into a totally separate onboarding mode and build the whole thing AGAIN for project management.

Same work. Twice. In two different places.

And when the project's done? You have no real idea how close your original quote was to reality.

So you do the next one as if you're starting from scratch. Again.

This mini-book takes that shit apart and shows you how to build the plan ONCE and let it pull double, triple, quadruple duty: your pitch, your project setup, your time tracking, AND your pricing data for the next client.

One plan. Doing the work of five.

I can't wait for you to read it

The mini-books are how I'm gonna show you the bigger picture. And the bigger picture is how we finally dry those ClickUp tears... for good. 😎

Catch you soon,

Robyn
