They should call it *FEAR*lancing bc this shit can be scary as hellA few of my scariest freelancing moments are vivid: > Quitting a full-time job w. toxic energy and going full-time freelance all in the span of 24 hours > Immediately having a full-time client roster and literally no idea what I'm doing > Ditching all of my agency clients that paid me hourly to go all in on my own clients without actually having the clients > Literally right now as I transition from client work to ClickUp educator & consultant ๐ป I've been a full-time freelancer since 2018 and there hasn't been a single period of time without some kind of major change or need to adapt. But the fulfillment that's come from literally building my OWN REALITY is ridiculous. ๐ฉ Being forced to sit at a desk for 8 hours. ๐ฉ Being told how its done and whats going to happen. ๐ฉ Being expected to come to an office even tho its 0% necessary. Boring. Being empowered to create something that supports you. Being empowered to build a business that feels really good. Being empowered to design the life you want and GOING FOR IT. Anyone can do it without ClickUp. But FACTS: ClickUp makes it 10000000x times easierEven though it hasn't been easy, and my income is still more varied than I'd like, I feel fulfilled in ways I didn't know possible building a business But my fearlessness has only grown bc of ClickUp. The things that burn a fire in my belly become not only REAL but more importantly... ACHIEVABLE. Here's what I mean: My husband and I want our band to take us on adventures, so I built a gig tracker to start actively pursuing that dream. ^ Now that shit is REAL, and those distant visions of exploring new places and pushing ourselves musically is actually showing up in 3D. ๐ Not bc of luck. Bc of devotion... and ClickUp. Suddenly its easy to strike balance and pursue a multi-disciplinary life. The forever-learner. The passion-seeker. The boundary-pusher. It's scary as hell, but it's also exciting and enriching. ClickUp has this ability to wrap its arms around all of your hopes and dreamsBut the Focus Framework actually makes it achievable one step at a time.
