I'm pretty sure everyone's tryna to work for themselves these days.

And can you blame us when corporations are doing shit like this? 😳

Having to be somewhere all day is bad enough but not being allowed to look outside is just... weird.

But ol' Robyn & Reader: we know how awesome it is to not deal with that kinda shit.

Now we gotta hold on to it like crazy so it never ends.

I think the one big opportunity for those of us with years of in the trenches experience is to up-level the organization of it all.

One of my first real jobs was on a global SAP project for a mining company. They spent BILLIONS of dollars to do one thing:

Go from many systems → just ONE.

One central system to run the entire company. Every department, process, & tidbit of information.

bc that's power.
bc that's control.
bc that's how you build a freakin' empire!

It's kinda rad that us entrepreneurs can basically do the exact same thing, but for $7 USD/month.

I'm sure you know this by now but ClickUp isn't just about managing projects or being more organized.

It's about building the actual structure of your business.

When your world lives inside a computer, there's nothing tangible to grab onto. Everything feels scattered across seventeen different tabs.

ClickUp becomes your office: the place where everything lives 🏠

But instead of filing cabinets, it's lists and views.

Instead of sticky notes & notepads, it's all in one command center.

Instead of your brain trying to be the GPS for all your shit, it just knows: open ClickUp → go.

When your mind doesn't have to store locations (which spreadsheet? what tab? which tool?)

When your mind doesn't have to track progress (when did I follow up? what did we agree on?)

When your mind doesn't have to hunt for information (scrolling, searching, swearing)

The space that opens up?

That's where the big ideas and the great work happens.

Trust me: inspired work doesn't happen in a chokehold. 🥵

But it can be done within a structure... the kind where you control the blinds.
