POV: it's a 24/7 firehose of shit you gotta keep straightI worked with a freelancer a few weeks back on building out a process she'd recently dropped the ball on. It was clear how much it haunted her bc she was super keen to have me build her a real system. Which makes sense to me bc dropping the ball is literally the WORST feeling ever. There was a time when I was afraid of new messages from a client, assuming that I'd either done something wrong or forgotten to do something. I don't feel like that anymore thankfully. 😅 ClickUp + Focus Framework fixed my workload management problem completely. AKA: the obvious problem of getting shit done when you say you will. But the less-obvious energy zap it stopped dead was the 24/7 feeling of being fire-hosed with information you gotta keep track of and reference at a moments notice. You ever been on a call with a client and they ask about an old project? Before ClickUp, you'd probably say "let me find that and get back to you" which is TOTALLY fine. But with ClickUp, you can find that thing in 2 seconds, before the client has even finished talking about it. "Oh, you mean this?" BOOM. Mic drop. 🙃 Every single layer you add to your ClickUp workspace is yet another drawer, shelf, or basket to store those tidbits of info.
That kinda stressful energy of trying to find the info you need when you need it? The subtle fear of looking stupid in front of a client? Poof. GONE faster than a percy bag of Lay's salt'n'vins around ya girl. 🤤 You're held by this whole network of every little thing you make, do, and track in your business. And it lives COMPLETELY outside of your brain (where it belongs). If there's one place that most people in ClickUp can improve? It's this. It's in how you use ClickUp's spaces, folders, lists, views, tasks, etc to centralize how you store information. So freelancer... ask yourself this:When a client sends you something small but important... where does it go? If the honest answer is "uhhh," that's the zap you're carrying and today's ClickUp tip has got you. ⬇️ Next week we're talking about energy zap 2 baby.
