The ClickUp long gameDoes your laptop randomly turn on do not disturb mode while you're working? I don't how it started... I didn't turn it on, but I actually really like it bc nothing pulls me out of flow faster than a text message. Quieting distractions and focusing is kinda key to getting anything done that you're even remotely proud of. For me, that looks like: Silence while i'm writing DND on my phone & laptop Resisting every urge to refresh my email bc it's very clearly procrastination & sometimes working outside at this little station Todd made me bc outside is nice (PS - can you spot the real creativity juice in this photo?? 😝) Maybe it's just me, but it's usually not easy to get into a creative flowy headspace. Everything wants to pull my attention away, but also I put so much damn pressure on myself to produce good work. And produce good work = being at a desk, right?I've definitely been conditioned to think that working more is a good thing, and time away from work equates to falling behind. We all have... except Gen Z of course, who are all anyone can talk about rn with their radical workplace ethos. After almost 11 years of freelancing, I have enough laps around the sun to REALLY SEE what the long-term impact of a calm business looks like. Which is best described in this new catch phrase i just thought of: the MORE SPACE you create → the more space there is TO CREATE 💡Meaning, when you continually make efforts to manage distractions + build slick-rick ClickUp systems + manage from one central system = space opens up. You can think clearer, stay in the zone for longer, and tune into creativity & flow more deeply. bc when you're so deep in the shit, and time feels like there's never enough, ClickUp can look like the last place to spend it. To you, I say: ClickUp is a *worthwhile* LONG gameEvery ounce of energy you spend learning to master ClickUp will inevitably create MORE of that glorious space we're talking about. And the thing I know with 100% certainty bc i've seen it play out over and over: it only gets better from here. → the relief you'll feel 6 months from now when everything just... flows. → when you can always find what you need in 2-3 clicks. → when your brain isn't bogged down but actually gets to do the creative work it's meant for. That version of your business? It's not just possible, it's inevitable when you stick with it. You got this. We got this. ClickUp's fkn got this.
